Denise is the wife of a 20 year USNaval veteran, mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Denise has been with Courageous Hearts for over 2 years. She provides Equine -assisted psychotherapy, canine-assisted psychotherapy in office and at local schools, and provides Telehealth sessions. She works in both Lincoln and Townsend locations. Denise specializes in a person-centered approach along with trauma-informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Certified in Parent Child Interactive Therapy, Christian Counseling, Experience in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and utilizes mindfulness.

Denise enjoys time with her family in her down time, camping and playing the drums. Denise has two miniature horses named Toby and Junior and a Goldendoodle puppy named Emma.
